Any red flags in a Allianz Vision Investment Protector Annunity ? We are told it has costs of 1.65% on a 4 year plan and 1.7 on 7 year + .90% for an Investment protector rider.
I havn't found any real recommendations from other that the people selling them.

Hello,

I really have no comment either way regarding the Allianz Vision Annuity.

We do not promote variable annuities to seniors.

The only problem I have with variable annuities is that you have to pay management/broker fee(s) even when you do no make any money.

If you do not want to risk your principal and lock in gains every year, then look at fixed indexed annuities.

You will skip paying yearly fee(s, keep more of your money, and sleep better at night knowing your money is off of the table.
